This is 4 pages extracted from a training pack I designed for JD sports direct. It was a freelance project. The packs were in order to help train new Store Managers abroad.
JD’s internal documentation had no branding, so the idea of branding and designing this in order to make it more visually appealing was an idea they were unsure of at first. They agreed that the well made and well designed packs would add value to them and encourage users to keep and use the documents. I had to add some impact and value to the document but JD also asked me to keep it professional and simple. It had to be easy to follow and reference. I decided to keep most of the design and impact to the edges, leaving space to display the required information clearly, using simple fonts. I used colour coding to help order any lists the
document contained. I kept the design aimed toward a youthful audience and colours that helped keep the document light hearted but professional.
